Enjoy our Bistro offering "Restaurant meals at Bistro prices" . Our Chefs, Andrew, Martin and Amy, apprentices Christie and Daniel, and our friendly staff, take great price in the presentation of your meals.
Our full menu changes regularly. Vegetarian meals are prepared on request as are any special dietary requirements. Our chefs confer daily to plan specials to be prepared for that evening and the following day's lunch.
One will often see listed on our special board, dishes with unusual names to coincide with a special event or function.
At any meal time, people may choose from a minimum of 10 entrees, 16 mains, 6 desserts plus the chefs' specials and children's menu.

All of rooms feature ceiling fans and hand basins with hot and cold running water. Each of the fully refurbished rooms has access directly out onto the large veranda area. Our recently restored heritage veranda has views of the mighty Clarence river and of the quiet tree-lined Victoria street.

For larger groups we also offer our cottage adjoining the main hotel. This cottage features 4 bed rooms, showers, toilets, laundry and kitchen and is fully air conditioned for your comfort. Accommodating up to a total of 10 people, the cottage is available as a complete rental or by individual rooms.

Our Stables function area, named for the horse stables that originally occupied the area, can seat up to 110 guests and features it's own private bar and toilet facilities. This area is fully air conditioned and is normally used for general bistro dining. The Stables can also be booked for private functions and includes a big screen tv, wireless PA system and stage area. |
Adjoining the Stables area is our open air beer garden which allows diners to take advantage of the splendid North Coast weather. Enjoy alfresco dining in the covered courtyard, surrounded by lush shrubs and plants and listen to the soothing sounds of our new water feature. | |

Our Beer Garden has just been expanded to include our new family-friendly kids play area know as the Bear Pit. Parents can enjoy a meal or a quiet drink while still keeping an eye on the kids as they play. |
The newest edition to our function areas is the historically appointed "Captains Table" room featuring the worlds longest table cut for a single piece of timber which seats up to 40 people. The walls of the "Captains Table" are adorned with pictures, paintings and memorabilia the days of the height of the river trade along the Clarence. Click here for more information. |

As you wander through the building you will notice many unique decorative features that have been added to improve the aesthetics and historical feel of the establishment. From our Cascade chandeliers, loaves and fishes display, Guinness toucan and resident crocodile, you will find many items of interest adorning our walls and ceilings. |
